Lookin back at the past, and what we had with each other
The relationship we shared it was like you were my mother
but its a fact you definitely were more than that
always making me food trying to get me fat
holding my hand when we would cross the street
and grabbing both of my arms so I could walk on my feet
always telling me wrong from right
and not to start fights
and how to be the bigger man and walk away
damn I wish you could just stay
but its just life and things just happen that way
I wish we could have said our goodbyes
stead of feint memories and tears in my eyes
But I guess this is just how its supposed to be
i'll just reminisce on how it was when it was just you and me......
